Smart Queue & Patient Flow Management
for High-Volume Retail Pharmacies

We partnered with Walmart Pharmacy to design and develop an intelligent queue management system that reduces waiting time,
improves customer experience, and optimizes pharmacist workflows. The platform enables digital check-ins, live queue tracking,
prescription readiness alerts, and staff load balancing — helping stores handle thousands of daily customers efficiently.

Traditional pharmacy counters often suffer from long queues, manual ticketing, and unpredictable wait times. Our solution digitized
the entire patient journey. Customers can check in using kiosks or mobile devices, receive token numbers, track their position in real time,
and get notified when prescriptions are ready for pickup. Staff dashboards provide visibility into peak hours, prescription status, and service times.

We implemented real-time event processing, automated routing, and predictive analytics to dynamically distribute workloads among pharmacists.
The system integrates seamlessly with existing prescription management software and POS systems while ensuring HIPAA-compliant security.
As a result, Walmart stores reported shorter lines, faster service, and significantly improved customer satisfaction.

The challenge of project

Handling high foot traffic across hundreds of stores required a highly scalable architecture with minimal downtime. We had to maintain
secure healthcare data handling, ensure offline reliability, and design an extremely simple interface for customers of all age groups.
